Hello,

My name is Leonard Orlikowski and I currently work as a freelance illustrator but my end goal is to work in a more stable, creative environment with equally creative people. My personal style is reminiscent of the 1950s science fiction art. I am also inspired by works from Hanna Barbera cartoons and Pulp Magazine art from the 1950s and 60s. My work is often light hearted with a sense of realism for those reasons.

I have been traditionally trained in art at the American Academy of Art in Chicago where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts with a focus in Illustration. Here, I learned traditional illustration methods including pen and ink as well as watercolors. I am, however, proficient in digital mediums like using Adobe software with which I am self-taught.
